Tin Cat Alley

Multi Jazz Genre band

We are Tin Cat Alley. The core of this unique jazz group is Norine Mungo, Richard Escobar and son, Daniel. Working as duo, trio, and up to full band for larger events.

“What makes us unique is that we are not stuck on any one form of jazz. We include smooth Jazz, boogie woogie, jump blues, some rockabilly, and have our own jazz take on non jazz songs, like Nowhere Man, or Stand By Me. “  Norine , a multi genre  published composer, both music and lyrics,  enjoys reinterpreting cover songs .

Daniiel also composes as well as Richard, and together this trio is fast becoming the rage in the Tampa Bay Area for events, private parties, restaurants, and street festivals.

Norine also works as a  ceremony artist for gulf coast beach weddings.

Daniiel and his father Richard won the diversity lottery and came to America with their family from Cuba, where they were well known in the jazz scene. Multi instrumentalist, both are highly proficient on the keys and the strings. Richard is a music arranger and was a  studio musician with a  background in the recording industry of Cuba.

Norine has been writing songs since the age of 16, and performing across the nation in clubs, events, and festivals for fifty years. Smokey vocals and powerfully tender delivery, audiences are left craving one more, and then another by the end of her sets. Her originals are being performed around the globe by various artists, and she, herself, performs originals at festivals throughout the state of Florida and beyond. She also teaches vocals, songwriting, ukulele , Baritone and percussion.  She runs a rock ukulele Jam once a month in South Tampa.

Tin Cat Alley is available for bookings, and will give you price breakdowns based on size of event, number of musicians, and travel. Also, for weddings and anniversaries, will learn specific songs that are desired, or even write an original for your special day.
